I know you are jealous...

A week ago today I arrived at work to find a lovely surprise. For the past year, several of my co-workers have teased me about purchasing me a Snuggie to wear at work. For some reason I feel colder than the rest of the people in the office, so everyday I wrap myself up in my "BDO" blanket. Well, that is every day until last Monday because a Snuggie was waiting for me! I was as excited as a child on Christmas morning. I immediately opened it up and tried it on for everyone to see. I love it! For those of you that don't know what a Snuggie is....it is basically a hospital gown made of comfy fleece. Why couldn't I invent the Snuggie? That person is making some big money! Yes, I have already been called a dork, but I don't care. I am for sure more comfy then you are at work. Thank you Amy for my Monday morning surprise...you are the best!

You Asked, I Deliver

Ladies (you know who you are), this one is for you! Ever since our recent news became known, I have had some requests for a blog. Everyday I receive the email or the random IM stating that they are still waiting on this nonsense. Well, the blog is here and that means I now have to think of something to entertain you people.....or not. After you read this first post, you may never venture back to this blog again and that's okay. I first must do my disclaimer. Now I don't even pretend to know legal jargon, so this is going to be plain vanilla. Some of the content on this blog may be exaggerated or made up to my liking and to your dislike (deal with it). I will have to slowly introduce you to my cast of characters. You see, Buck and I are blessed to have wonderful family and friends and they are a very important part of our lives. These people may or may not be referred to with their real names. That will keep it interesting. I may be talking about you and you won't even know it or you might think it is about you and it really isn't.

The recent news I refer to up above is that we are expecting our first child in March. While this was not in our immediate plans, that's okay! God has a plan, right? I am 11 weeks along at this point and according to babycenter.org, our little buckaroo or bambi is the size of a fig. We had our first dr. appt last Thursday and everything looks great so far. Seeing the baby during the sonogram was amazing. It definitely made everything so "real." We are very excited! Buck plans on accompanying me to all of the dr. visits and I believe last week was a real eye opening experience for him if you know what I mean. Get used to it Hunny! I believe I am one of the luckiest gals to be married to such a great guy. Give me a moment, I have to brag. Buck is so excited about our new addition and has been nothing but Mr. Wonderful. After working a long day, he makes dinner for us and that is no easy task. The not so easy part is because I have had really bad nausea and nothing, I mean NOTHING ever sounds good to eat. All of those women telling me that they really enjoyed their pregnancy....huh? But, that is a post for a different day. It's time for me and baby to get some sleep. Until next time....
