Halloween Fun!

We had several activities around Halloween this year.  First, we carved a pumpkin.  Daddy did the cutting, while the boys and I had the fun job of cleaning it out!  The boys thought the slime and seeds were hilarious.  Their faces in these photos are priceless!

We had our first Halloween festivities at my work.  The kiddos enjoyed trick or treating through the office and decorating pumpkins.

Next, Brock had Fall Festival at school.

Lastly, we went trick or treating on Halloween.  The four of us were the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles:  Brock- Leonardo, Wyatt- Michelangelo, Daddy- Raphael, Mama- Donatello  I was shocked that Wyatt kept his mask on, but once he saw Daddy wears his there were no issues.  The boys had a great time trick or treating.

When we visited with Grandma and Grandpa a couple of weeks before Halloween, Grandma asked what the boys were going to be for Halloween.  We told her the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and she asked if Buck was going to be Raphael because he was as a child.  Sure enough, Buck had been "assigned" Raphael!  Thank you Grandma for finding the following photos from the past...Christmas 1990.

Fall finally decided to show up...

We started October off warm and then Fall finally decided to show up....for a little while.

First, Brock and I received free tickets to Six Flags, so we made a quick trip one evening!  He did so well riding the big kid rides.  He even rode the Judge Roy Scream and I now remember why I don't ride it....it is so shaky!!!  Poor Brock was scared to death, but he can say he rode it.  Ha!

Brother found Daddy's boots!

This is from the Splashpark on October 6th!!  I can't believe it was still open!

Brock and Daddy climbing trees.

Some time in New Braunfels with Grandma and Grandpa.  Grandma always takes the boys to do fun things like story time at the library and fun at the park...

Buck and I had a night away to celebrate our 7th Anniversary.  Time flies when you are having fun.  I found myself a great partner for this crazy thing we call life.

I like to be silly with my boys.  Now that it gets dark so early, we often play hide and seek in the dark.  I try to find new hiding spots and the boys thought it was hilarious when I hid in Wyatt's crib!  So, we had a quick slumber party.

A walk in the park.  You can't really see it in the photo, but Brock is holding Wyatt's hand and showing him the information about mockingbirds.  It made our hearts so happy!

Lastly, it was a beautiful day to fly a kite.  Brock was showing WyWy the ropes.  So cute!

Wyatt is TWO!

Wyatt turned two years old on October 9th.  Our little guy is so full of spirit and determination.  He never slows down (seriously, he has ONE speed)....and always keeps Mommy and Daddy on their toes!  Keep up the spunk and the laughter WyWy.  We love you!!!

Wyatt LOVES choo choos, his blankets (still called a bis), milk (milp as he calls it!) and to brush his teeth (random, I know).  Just before his birthday he said a complete sentence that surprised us, "Brock, you need to eat!" which in reality sounds like "Braut, nee eat."  He has gone potty a few times, but that slowed down after his little bottom fell in the other day.  Haha!  He LOVES to read books and to watch Thomas the train.  Lastly, he is really good at volunteering his brother on all questions.  I may ask who is tired or who needs a bath and WyWy says repeatedly, "Braut!  Braut!  Braut!" (insert loud WyWy laugh here)  He is already practicing for the blame game!

We celebrated Wyatt's birthday with family and friends on October 4th at Hall's Pumpkin Farm.  It was a beautiful, warm day full of fun!  Activities included slides, tractor tire jumping/climbing, a hayride, feeding the cows and donkeys, visiting other farm animals, cupcakes, pumpkins, a difficult corn maze, a good old school game of tag and so much more!

TAG!

Fell asleep FAST!

Wyatt had assistance opening gifts.

Still loves to put on other people's shoes!

We also had a cake for WyWy on his actual birthday and he was able to make a wish!

We went for his two year check-up on 10/17 and his stats were:

Height:  35.75 inches- 88th percentile
Weight:  31 pounds, 11 ounces- 87th percentile
Head Circumference:  49 cm- 59th percentile
