Joy to the World the Lord Has Come!

Wishing you love and joy this Christmas and throughout the new year!
Merry Christmas!!!

Good Times, Great Friends

We had a Sunday brunch to celebrate Amy's and Steph's birthdays.  As always, it was a lot of fun getting together.  Even baby Harrison joined the fun!

Santa! I know him!

Brock was very excited to see Santa this year, while Wyatt couldn't have cared less!  I wish they would have waited to take the photo when the boys were ready, but hey, not everyone is as good at photos as yours truly.  Kidding!

Brock made sure to tell him he wants trains!

School Christmas Program

Buck and I attended Brock's first Christmas program.  He did a great job singing along with his class!  He still loves school and enjoys telling us what he learns each day.

He is hard to see-left hand side in the red and black striped shirt.

Icemageddon

We have been iced in!!  The ice started last Thursday evening and we have not left the house since!  (I am writing this Monday night!)  We have made marshmallow snowmen, gone sledding in the backyard on cardboard boxes, picked on the Christmas tree, made gingerbread men and starting to go a little stir crazy.  Even Wyatt is walking laps looking bored!  HA!

Brock's looks so much better than mine!

Trying to reach a breakable one...I can smell them!

I LOVE to pick on the Christmas tree...

Ginormous Icicles

I LOVE this set of photos of the boys...

I have so many clothes on, I can't move!

Checking out the ice...SLIPPERY!

Brock was the "Sprinkles Man"

Best photo from the weekend!  We looked down to notice Brock wearing Wyatt's pants.  He is all about dressing himself these days and Wyatt's pants must have accidentally made it upstairs.  CAPRIS (and backwards shirt)!

Thanksgiving Fun

We hosted Thanksgiving again this year and had a wonderful day.  We have so much to be thankful for including our family, friends, health and home.  Thanks again to my in-laws for helping with the Thanksgiving feast....we couldn't do it without you!

Good times.  Wyatt entertained us with some dance moves...

First School Photo!

Brock had school pictures taken this Fall and they turned out really cute.
Buck's response to school photos, "We are old!  We have a kid getting school photos done!"  Ha.

Brock still loves school and surprises us with what more he knows every week.  This past weekend he asked us:

Brock:  What should we get Jesus for his birthday?
Mama:  I don't know.  What do you think?
Brock:  Maybe some frankincense?
Mama:  Maybe so.
Brock:  Or maybe my Mickey globe and I can get a Jake snow globe from Santa.
Mama:  Yea, or that...

We've got a walker!

Wyatt started walking laps the week of Thanksgiving!  He had been taking a couple of steps at a time for a couple of months, but that week he decided it was time to take it to another level.  It is exciting and exhausting at the same time!  He was so proud of himself and would clap after he took several steps (I guess because we did!).  His favorite word right now is MAMA, while his most favorite hobbies are picking on his older brother and sticking out his tongue.

YAY Wyatt!  There is no slowing you down now!
With a ball in his hand of course!

The only way to survive a few days...

away from the hubby and kiddos during a work conference in Phoenix.  Facetime.  Of course Brock was the Fantastic Frog at school that same week and Daddy did a great job getting all of that done!

Celebrating Jen and Vin in NOLA

(I wrote this on the way home from NOLA 11/16...this blog is always a work in progress!)  We are on the road home from a wonderful time in the Big Easy celebrating the marriage of Jen and Vin.  A beautiful bride, a handsome groom, interactive wedding ceremony and a great party afterwards.  Jen has been one of my best friends for several years and I was so happy to be a part of her special day.  She and Vin also asked Brock to be a ring bearer.  He looked so handsome in his tux and did a great job walking the long church aisle with a smile.

We got on the road very early Thursday morning and made it to NOLA just in time to get checked in to the hotel and over to the rehearsal.  The boys did quite well in the car considering the length of the trip.  We were very pleased!  Thursday evening we attended the rehearsal and then some of us went out to have a good time and that we did!

So much fun partying with these people!

Had to make a visit to Pat O's!

Yep, still famous!  I hope that photo stays up FOREVER!
Friday I was busy with the bride-to-be, so my parents, John and Carolyn took Brock out to see the French Quarter.  (Buck had WyWy)
Brock loves to play tag with Uncle John!

Always taking change from Gpa!

Awww, how cute :)

The wedding was beautiful and the reception was a blast.  I will let the photos paint the picture.

Jen and Vin!

A view from Jackson Brewery

Everyone looked so nice!

The photo booth was so much fun!

Can we do it all over again!?!?  Great times!  Again, so happy we could be a part of your special day Nanny Jen and Uncle Vin!
