Yay for the Red Wagon!

Well, Gigi spotted the Radio Flyer red wagon on sale in the Target ad, so we had to breakdown and get it for Brock while the weather is still nice.

First, this is what dinner for our little guy looks like.  He is up to three meals a day....oatmeal in the morning, usually a veggie for lunch and a fruit for dinner.  Dinner is almost always during Wheel of Fortune.  Mommy and Daddy are competitive on the puzzle solving!

Brock and Uncle Stephen couldn't wait for the wagon to be put together...
Mommy, please tell Daddy to hurry up...
Yay!  So excited...

Another Day, Another Dollar

Who said accountants are all numbers?  Check out the pink hard hat!

No, that is not our house in the background.  HA!  We took a tour of a new office building that my client is constructing.

I Say a Little Prayer for You...

I have a request of my readers (I know you are out there).  Please keep my cousin and her family in your prayers as she begins her battle with breast cancer.  Love you girl!

Seek the Lord and his strength; seek his presence continually!  Psalm 105:4

I saw this quote today and LOVE it!

Be the kind of woman that when your feet hit the ground running this morning and you begin your good deeds, the devil will say,"OH CRAP, SHE'S UP!"

Thanks again Sandra!

Poor Baby

Our little boy didn't feel very well this past week. :(  We took him to the dr. yesterday morning because of fever, rash and vomiting and it turns out he had strep throat.  I must say, he is such a good baby even when he doesn't feel well!  He is already feeling better....back to his old ways of getting into everything.  Brock makes Buck and I laugh because every time we put him to bed or get him from his crib, he has the biggest smile on his face.  He is such a happy baby!

This morning Aunt Amy came over and we went for a walk around the park right by our house.  The park has several baseball fields and they were all full of little league games....I remember the days of Fall Ball when my brothers played.  I was the good sister there at every game to cheer them on.  I suppose I really didn't have any other option, but that is not relevant information.  Ha!  I hope that Brock wants to play baseball!  Grandpa can't wait!!!  The walking path also took us by the library, the city square, a nice playground and tennis courts.  It is so nice to have all of that so close!
Aunt Amy is a Nebraska Cornhuskers fan.  I had to get the two of them in their fan apparel for the TX-Nebraska game today.  GO HORNS!  Our baby boy is getting so big.....wearing size 12-month clothes!  Oh yea, and GO RANGERS!!  Please beat the Yankees!!!

Fall Round-Up!

Did I mention that I love Fall!?!  This past weekend Brock met some of his buddies at Nash Farm in Grapevine.  I can't wait until he is a little older to enjoy all of the fun stuff they had for the day including pony rides, petting zoo, cotton picking and stick pony buckin' broncs.  Yes, you read that correctly....stick pony buckin' broncs!  When we first got there I spotted the "Rodeo Arena" and all of the kiddos running around with the wooden stick ponies.  Oh, the little things that make me laugh.  Mo brought her Radio Flyer wagon for Brooke and Brock to cruise around in.  Now let me tell you, Radio Flyer red wagons have come a long way since I was a munchkin.  This wagon had seat backs and even little seat belts!  Brock LOVED the wagon.  Santa might have to bring him a very early Christmas present.

Home Sweet Home!

We have been working away trying to make our house a home.  I think Brock's room is more complete than the rest of the house.  Here he is with his all-time favorite toy in his room.   I will post more photos of the house soon....I must find my camera first!
