Birthday Party Fun

Brock had a busy social calendar this weekend.  He attended little Miss Brooke's 2nd birthday party on Saturday.  She had a farm animal theme and even a petting zoo!  Brock wasn't sure what to think at first.

Of course, I sent Brock into the zoo with Daddy, while I stayed safely on the outside...

"Daddy, that's not a dog.  What is it?"



"Bunny?  That doesn't look like Mr. Bunny Aunt MJ gave me for my birthday!"



"Okay, maybe I will give the ducks a chance.  Maybe..."

"Mommy, get me out of this zoo!"

Sunday he attended Oliver's 2nd birthday party at MyGym.  He had a blast!  It was the perfect party for a rainy, COLD afternoon.  Yes, we were in short sleeves at 90 degrees on Saturday and long sleeves at 40 degrees on Sunday!

If you haven't figured it out by now, we love the park!  Well, being outside in general....we have to enjoy this weather before it gets to hot.

Mommy needed a break.

You should have seen him trying to shoot for the hoop.  Absolutely adorable!

Happy Easter!

He is Risen!  Easter is always a joyful day!  We had lunch with Gigi and Grandpa and then an Easter egg hunt with the Staley side.  And the little birdie did not lie, the Easter bunny brought Brock some golf clubs.

A Day in the Life....

We were outside ALL day today!!!  All three of us love to be outdoors.  But first, Brock walked his "puppy" around the house.

 Then, he played a little basketball. 

Played outside and "helped" Daddy in the yard.

He is ALL boy.... 

Let it be known, that Brock is a big boy and can feed himself.  We are not allowed to help! 

 Buck just asked, "Another blogpost? You can tell tax season is over!" AMEN. 

Brock Meets the Easter Bunny

and just like Santa Claus....he wasn't impressed!  He looked so cute though....

He did enjoy looking at the aquarium full of fish at Bass Pro (that is where the Easter Bunny was).

I can't wait to take him to the zoo!



Mama...Mama.....Mama

I have been m.i.a. recovering from a busy, fun-filled March and getting through the last couple weeks of tax season.  Buck is shocked I have not written a blog entry exclaiming the wonderful news that Brock now says MAMAMAMAMAMAMAMAMAMA!  Yes, he started consistently saying Mama last Saturday (a week ago).  I think Brock was so excited that he was even calling Dada, "Mama!"  Our boy is running all over the place...

 It looked like he was intently looking for his golf ball...

I think the Easter Bunny might be bringing Brock some golf clubs of his own.  Atleast, that is what a little birdie told me....



Beautiful Weekend

This weekend flew by!

First, Brock dressed in his Rangers gear to cheer them on for Opening Day!  Oh wait, and he read some Brown Bear,  Brown Bear before school.  That is his favorite book.

Saturday was a perfect day for his new bike and the park.  Thanks again Uncle Gene and Aunt Kay!

And then there's Sunday....  Today at lunch my Mom said that God gave me a boy because I know how to handle them.  Well, later I was in the home office working when I heard my boys having too much fun on the front porch.  Buck had caught a lizard.....oh, poor lizard.  ICK!  I don't do well with lizards, but Brock had a good time! 

CHEESE!  This is before Daddy cut his hair again.
