We had some professional photos taken when Wyatt was only 6 days old. The little guy was awake the entire time! Enjoy...

Pumpkin Patch
I love Fall!! Last weekend we had our first family outing to the Hall's Pumpkin Farm. Brock was so excited and then did not want to leave. He spent a majority of the time climbing and jumping from tractor tires to hay bales. Great times!

A Week in the Life
Here are some photos from Wyatt's first week at home with us:
A big thank you to all of the family, friends and neighbors that have stopped by to meet Wyatt and brought us food. You all are the best! And a huge thank you to Gigi for staying over and allowing Mommy and Daddy to get some uninterrupted sleep.

Welcome Wyatt Christopher!
We are happy to announce that Wyatt Christopher has arrived and we are in love! He (along with the dr) pulled a prank on Mommy and Daddy making us think he would arrive early. Well, just like his older brother, he arrived smack dab on his original due date of October 9th. I am not sure where they get this punctuality from...
Buck worked a long day last Monday, so when I started having contractions at 9pm I told him to go ahead and go to bed. (I left off the fact that I was having contractions!) Around 10:30pm the contractions were 10 minutes apart so I called my parents to give them a heads up since they were in charge of Brock if/when we went to the hospital. Mom quickly drove over and I got last minute things ready until it was time to call the dr. at 1:30am and was told to check in to the hospital. I woke Buck up and said it's time to go. I don't think I have ever seen him move so fast! I should get brownie points for letting him get some sleep!! Don't you think?!?! We arrived at the hospital and were told I was dilated to 4 cm, so I thought we would be meeting our newest addition within the next few hours. Wrong! I stayed at 4 cm for a few hours until the dr ordered pitocin to get things started. Well, I was diligently watching the monitor and it was as if the pitocin had the opposite effect....my contractions were lessening. That is until about 11am when I started to feel very uncomfortable. The nurse checked me once more and said it was go time....just had to find the dr and oh yea, don't push! WHAT!? This is what I heard when I was in labor with Brock. I suppose it is a blessing because I hardly had to do any work and at 11:35am we met our newest bundle of joy. He is perfect in every way at a healthy 8 lbs, 5 ounces (the dr warned me he would be a "chunker"- yes, those were her words!) and 20.5 inches long. He is such a strong baby. As soon as they laid him on my chest he was lifting his head!
Brock is so excited to be a big brother. As soon as he met Wyatt he asked if we could bring him home! He also wanted Wyatt to give him "five" and we had to explain that he will have to teach his younger brother how to do that. Lastly, he turned to Daddy and said, "he's not talking!" So cute!!! He is constantly giving his brother kisses and tickling him.

While We Were Waiting...
We decided to go to the zoo one afternoon while we were waiting for BIP to arrive. We thought a lot of walking and mexican food would do the trick. We were wrong, but we had a great time!
The best dollar we spent that day was for bird food. We had a great time feeding the birds!
| Brock said his favorite animal of the day was the elephant because it is big and strong. |

Still waiting...
Well folks, we are still waiting on BIP! I think he is too comfy. I went to the dr yesterday morning and she said I am 2 cm dilated, so really any day now! Maybe he will share a birthday with one of his BFFs, Rylan, born on September 27th last year. We will keep you posted....
