We celebrated Wyatt's first birthday at the house last Saturday. The theme was The Very Hungry Caterpillar, so that made what to serve easy... We had plenty of treats and a bounce house to tire the kiddos out. Great times with wonderful friends and family that took the time to celebrate with us. We are so thankful for these people in our lives. We took several photos and I will let them tell the story...

First Day of Preschool
It is so hard to believe that Brock is in Preschool!!! He LOVES it! He was so excited to go the first day that he ran into the building. I have to admit I was pinching myself so I didn't cry. I have a couple of years to prepare for the first day of Kindergarten. :) Brock's teachers are wonderful and he has several new friends in class.
On the other hand, Buck and I have been re-introduced to homework! Brock was the first Fantastic Frog and that meant we were in charge of snacks for the week all related to the letter "A", a box of stuff again related to the letter "A" and an "All About Me" poster. Guess who was up late doing the homework....Mommy and Daddy! Do you know how hard it is to grab stuff around the house that starts with the letter "A"??
When I asked Brock about his first day, he said, "It was really good. We read Pete the Cat- Four Groovy Buttons and White Shoes! We played outside, sang a song, did an activity, ate lunch, took a nap, looked for buttons and I found one outside. I made new friends and sat next to Fisher." I was so happy to hear about all of the details that first day and have not been successful on getting details ever since. "It was good." Typical boy response I get every day. One of the other mom's said that her daughter is always talking about Brock and how they play together. I asked Brock if he is friends with Natalie and he said, "who?!?" Boys!!!
