Wyatt is TWO!

Wyatt turned two years old on October 9th.  Our little guy is so full of spirit and determination.  He never slows down (seriously, he has ONE speed)....and always keeps Mommy and Daddy on their toes!  Keep up the spunk and the laughter WyWy.  We love you!!!

Wyatt LOVES choo choos, his blankets (still called a bis), milk (milp as he calls it!) and to brush his teeth (random, I know).  Just before his birthday he said a complete sentence that surprised us, "Brock, you need to eat!" which in reality sounds like "Braut, nee eat."  He has gone potty a few times, but that slowed down after his little bottom fell in the other day.  Haha!  He LOVES to read books and to watch Thomas the train.  Lastly, he is really good at volunteering his brother on all questions.  I may ask who is tired or who needs a bath and WyWy says repeatedly, "Braut!  Braut!  Braut!" (insert loud WyWy laugh here)  He is already practicing for the blame game!

We celebrated Wyatt's birthday with family and friends on October 4th at Hall's Pumpkin Farm.  It was a beautiful, warm day full of fun!  Activities included slides, tractor tire jumping/climbing, a hayride, feeding the cows and donkeys, visiting other farm animals, cupcakes, pumpkins, a difficult corn maze, a good old school game of tag and so much more!

TAG!

Fell asleep FAST!

Wyatt had assistance opening gifts.

Still loves to put on other people's shoes!

We also had a cake for WyWy on his actual birthday and he was able to make a wish!

We went for his two year check-up on 10/17 and his stats were:

Height:  35.75 inches- 88th percentile
Weight:  31 pounds, 11 ounces- 87th percentile
Head Circumference:  49 cm- 59th percentile

Zoo and then BBQ

Late in September, we had a great Saturday at the FW Zoo and lunch at The Woodshed Smokehouse!

Elephants are still Brock's favorite.

It almost looked like Wyatt was trying to hook 'em.

Last Lake Weekend of 2014

We made it past the 9/15 deadline and got out of town! Buck and I enjoyed a day/night in Fredericksburg.

I just had to take advantage of the photo op!
And then had another fun weekend at the lake.  Our boys (all of us) are so spoiled!  Thanks again Uncle John!

Brock LOVES surfing with Uncle John.  He is a fast learner too!

Trying really hard to sign "hang ten."

Lookin' good!

Cutie!

First Day of School

Brock could not wait to start school again.  It is hard to believe that he will be starting Kindergarten next year.  Seriously people, where does the time go?  (I guess I should have printed a sign that said First Day of Pre-K!)  His first day of school comments were, "It was fun!  I love my new teachers!"  They are working on a letter each week-sounding the letter out, writing the letter, uppercase vs. lowercase, show and tell with the letter, etc.  He comes home excited to tell us what they do each day and go through his backpack.
