Celebrations of Christmas

I love Christmastime and visiting with our friends and family.  We had a fun week full of celebrating, visiting and presents.  We are very blessed to have so many wonderful people to celebrate with for Christmas!

Our first celebration was in Temple with my mom's side of the family.  It is always a great time!  A big thank you to my aunt and uncle for hosting another year.

We had a quick, fun visit with Rylan and Camden.  Christmas is tons of fun with the little ones!  I still laugh that Rylan asked me to get him "bad guys" for Christmas!

We celebrated Christmas with Buck's mom's side of the family at Jason's house.  Pappaw made us all laugh with the blue hat!

Christmas Eve was full of baking, visiting, mass, dinner, presents, and more.  Uncle Stephen was not able to join us due to the flu, so we Facetimed him in to our Christmas celebration.  Not the same, but technology is pretty amazing.  Brock's and Wyatt's big gift from Mommy and Daddy was a train engine made specifically for each of them with their name printed on the bottom.  They love them!

Brock loves to take photos (must be hereditary!)- so these next few photos are his....

Brock Train!
Christmas Eve night Santa stopped by and Snickers said goodbye until Thanksgiving next year.  The boys loved looking for Snickers each morning.  Christmas morning was more fun with presents!

Brock really wanted Nutcrackers for Christmas.

Christmas morning selfies!

A very Merry Christmas had by ALL!!!  Once Uncle Stephen was feeling well, he came by to visit.  The boys were not disappointed...

Christmas Card Photos

One Sunday after church we asked Dad to join us at the park with his camera to take Christmas card photos.  Of course, the first few photos were the best (without forced smiles!).

Christmas fun!

We did a lot of fun things leading up to Christmas including decorating the Christmas tree, baking cookies, attending Brock's Christmas program, visiting with Santa and riding the Polar Express.

First Visit with Santa

Brock and I wrote out his official list to Santa the night before Santa appeared at Brock's school.  The train tracks, Legos and nutcracker were consistently on his list when we asked him.

Each Christmas Gigi and Grandpa purchase a rail car for Brock and Wyatt from the Ronald McDonald House for the Trains at North Park.  We searched and searched for their rail car, but could not find it.  The boys loved watching the trains go round and round!

This year we took the boys to ride the Polar Express in Grapevine.  Our friends Amy, Kris and Rylan joined us for the evening of fun.  We rode a train to the North Pole, sang Christmas carols including "All I Want for Christmas is My Two Front Teeth" (Brock thought it was so funny!), received silver bells from Mrs. Claus, walked through the trees and snow, and saw Santa and his elves.

Wyatt did not care for this Santa, but Brock did!
