Wyatt Turns FOUR!

Four!!  How can our little monkey be four?  Wyatt, we love you so much.  You are determined, happy, sweet, persistent, dramatic and shy all at the same time!  You love your juice (only Sprouts Organic Apple), your blankies, your trains, color changing cars and your "boy" shows.  Happy Birthday Big Boy!  We can't wait to see how much you grow over the next year.

We had a good ole family birthday party for Wyatt complete with a bounce house and a little yard baseball.  It was a beautiful and fun day for our four year old!

Wyatt's expressions crack us up.  Believe it or not, these are happy faces!

I love this photo Brock took of Wyatt showing off his car "Flo."

Wyatt Starts Preschool!

Wyatt started in the Frog Class on September 6th.  He couldn't wait to start school and then when it came time for Mommy and Daddy to leave him in class that first day, well there was a different story.  He had a great first day and enjoys going back each school day.  He is learning so much!

Being shy...

Wyatt's official school photo (another handsome guy!):

Wyatt had his four year check-up on November 7th and his stats were:

Height: 42.5 inches- 89th percentile
Weight:  44.1 pounds- 93rd percentile (same percentile as last year!)

Six Flags Fun!

Late August, my Mom invited us to accompany her to Six Flags for her company's picnic.  It was a warm, fun day!

First up, the Carousel...

Wyatt was not a fan of Porky Pig!  Stranger Danger!

Everyone rode the Mexican hat!

The "boys" rode the teacups...

Next up, El Conquistador.  Brock sat at the very top with Grandpa and was not a happy camper once the ride started.

Fun on the antique cars with Brock driving and then Wyatt.

CHEEESE!

We had to get a photo with the big chair!

He was cool with Sylvester.
 And lastly, Kiddyland.

We Have a First Grader!

The summer flew by and before we knew it school was starting.  Brock is blessed to have Mrs. Kaufmann as his first grade teacher.  First grade means handwriting, reading, spelling tests, new classmates, a reasonable lunchtime, etc.  Brock really enjoys going to school each day.  Here are a few photos from the first day of school:

His sign says, "1st Day of 1st Grade"

His wonderful teacher!
An after school photo.  He said his favorite part of the day was recess!

I took him to Bahama Bucks for a back to school treat.  Smiles all around!

Later that week I came home to him "training" a chicken.  I still can't believe that chicken sat for him.  We need to get him a dog!  He said he wants to be a veterinarian when he grows up.

And because I am playing catch up, Brock had his six year check-up on August 8th and his stats were:

Height: 50 inches- 96th percentile
Weight:  58.9 pounds- 90th percentile

Last but not least, his official 1st grade school photo (He is so handsome!):
