Holiday Fun!!

I took several photos from our pre-Christmas fun!  I try not to overbook the calendar during the holidays to allow downtime to enjoy the magic of the Season.

First, I had the best helpers decorating the Christmas tree.  They took their jobs seriously!  Our elf, Snickers, came back to stay with us Thanksgiving night.  He was up to his usual shenanigans.

We rode the North Pole Express out of Grapevine to see Santa.  So much fun!

Beautiful ornaments at the glass blowing shop!

Waiting in line for the North Pole Express.

Wyatt's Christmas Program at School.  He did a great job singing the songs and smiling.  He likes the stage!

The First Annual Dallas Children's Holiday Party at my office.  On the way home the boys said that the real Santa was at the party because he knew our elf's name.  :)

Christmas Card Photos

We went down to the nearby park again for Christmas card photos.  Thank you Dad for capturing these photos and the many expressions of our youngest!

Chicken Update

I sure have learned a lot about chickens over the past year!  One of our hens was determined to be a mama.  After several attempts to dissuade her, Buck allowed her to be a mama.  On September 18th and 19th, the mama hen hatched eight eggs.

A few photos from the fall:
Aren't the eggs beautiful?!?

Babies in September!

More babies!

We had to get the baby feeders out again.

It amazes me how they just chill with him!

We are thankful for our many blessings!

We have so much to be thankful for!  Buck and I enjoy hosting Thanksgiving each year and we are so thankful for the help in the kitchen!  This year Buck the Builder started our big remodeling project in October and came to a good stopping point just in time for the Thanksgiving holiday.  The construction zone was easily overshadowed by the great family and food!

We don't have too many photos, but I will share what we do have.

Group Photo!

We did a re-enactment from Thanksgiving 2012.  This is then.

Rex and Brock now.  Time flies when you are having fun!
