Happy 4 Years!

Well Hubby, thanks for being my partner on this crazy ride....

I just realized I never posted pics from our AWESOME 80's themed bday party in The Big Easy!!!!  Yes, Buck was wearing a mullet wig.....hi-lar-i-ous.  Thanks for keeping it fun babe!

God gave me you for the ups and downs
God gave me you for the days of doubt
For when I think I’ve lost my way
There are no words here left to say, it’s true
God gave me you

On my own I’m only
Half of what I could be
I can’t do without you
We are stitched together
And what love has tethered
I pray we never undo

Pumpkin Patch

The Hall Johnson Pumpkin Patch is close to the house and very popular, so we decided to try it out this year.  We had a great time!  They have tons of pumpkins for sale and several things to keep the kiddos busy.

We even went on a hayride that stopped a couple of times to allow us to feed the animals.

Happy Fall!  (Even though it felt like Summer again today!)

Meet Rylan!

God didn't give me any blood sisters, but I have some great girl friends that I consider family.  One of those friends is Amy-we have known each other for 18 years (Amy, did you know that?!?)!  Amy and her husband, Kris, welcomed their son Rylan on September 27th.  He is perfect!
Brock and Brooke meet their new BFF
Mamas and Babies
In other news, Brock actually sat still for a few minutes on the couch to watch the Rangers, loves walking around in Mommy's shoes and snuggling with Gigi.
Watching the Rangers!
Luckily for him, I will not post the one with him in my high heels!  You owe me one kiddo!
He loves his Gigi!

First Ranger Game

We took Brock to the last home game *of the regular season.* YAY for playoffs again this year!  Brock enjoyed the adventure, but wasn't interested in watching the game.  He climbed on the railing, pointed out the babies, ate a little (lot) of ice cream, watched the fireworks, etc.  I am glad we took him, although it was quite exhausting.  We will take him again when he can sit still, which I am afraid might be never!  HA!
Luckily we found some seats in the shade....
Grandpa and Brock eyeing Daddy's ice cream!
When Brock says, "Can I have a bite?"  it sounds more like, "I bite?!"  He loves ice cream!

GOOD LUCK RANGERS!!!!

80 weeks old!

Yes, the emails I get from babycenter.com still state how many weeks old Brock is at the time.  I think next time someone asks how old he is I am going to respond in weeks, wait for their expression and wish I had a camera to record it.  HA!  Brock recently had his 18 month check up and here it goes:

Height: 33 inches - 67th percentile *this is definitely not correct if you take a look at our child, but it is on record*  :)
Weight: 28.5 pounds - 78th percentile
Head Circumference: 48 cm - 54th percentile

Brock has learned that the dr. office means shots and shots hurt.  He was fine in the waiting area, but as soon as we went back to take his measurements there was a complete meltdown.  He was crawling up me like a cat up a tree.  It took two of us to hold him down for shots and that is so hard for this mommy.  I hate seeing him so upset!  Luckily no more shots until he is 4 years old!  On a different note, the dr. was impressed that Brock is using the potty.  He is not potty trained yet, but he is definitely interested in getting there.
