First Time at the Dentist = Success!

Brock did so well last week at his first dental check-up!  There was no complaining, no whining and no tantrums even when they took x-rays.  He probably did better than most adults at the dentist!  HA!

Nine Month Photos

We had Wyatt's nine month photos taken at the Dallas Arboretum on a very humid morning.  Our wonderful photographer took a few of me and Brock as well (too bad Daddy wasn't able to be there!). 

Bring Your Child to Work Day 2013

My work hosted Bring Your Child to Work Day again this year and again these kiddos have no idea what CPAs actually do at work, but hey, why tell them the truth?  Let's teach them that every day is movies on the big screen, games, crafts, face painting, balloon artists, pizza and ice cream!

Nine Month Check-up

Our little guy had his nine month check-up last Friday and here are his stats:

Height:  29.5 inches- 87th percentile 

Weight:  22 pounds, 6 ounces- 87th percentile

Head Circumference:  45 cm- 46th percentile

He now has SIX teeth-two on bottom and four on top!  And he is also ALL OVER the place-pulling up and scooting along fast.  Last Saturday we caught him climbing the stairs right after Gigi asked us at dinner if he was climbing them yet.  I think he heard you Gigi!  The boys "talk" a lot, even though all Wy says is da-da-da-da-da.

Bonus feature on Brock:  Last week at the park he showed off his swinging skills.  Look at the joy!  Pure joy!

And bonus bonus- After I drafted this post I was curious about Brock's nine month stats.  It is fun to see the similarities and differences! 
 

Summer Vacation!

We had a very relaxing time in New Braunfels with Grandma and Grandpa a couple of weeks ago.  We were not ready to come home!  The fun things included Sea World, a mini train, swimming, riding the tractor, feeding the deer, catching frogs, going for walks, yummy food and so much more!

We started vacay off right with an ice cream stop.

 Buck and I got a weekend away with a great group of friends on Lake LBJ.  Thanks again to my bro John for dragging the boat to the lake and taking us out all weekend.  We had so much fun hanging out, wakeboarding and wakesurfing.  Yes, even yours truly wakesurfed!  So much fun!
