Today we took a moment to remember those lost on 9/11/01. I will never forget where I was that day when the news broke. I was a college student that had to be at my part-time accounting job by 7:30am and remember sitting in my cubicle when I heard the news on the radio. I stopped, listened intently and found the nearest tv. Classes were cancelled, the air was somber and we were glued to the coverage. How do we help? What do we do now? It was an emotional time.
The message in Church this morning was, "Forgiveness does not have a statute of limitations." We must forgive as we have been forgiven. That is sometimes easier said than done.

Very nice sentiment. I'm willing to forgive, when the killing stops. For now, here's an appropriate quote a friend of mine put on facebook...
“Somewhere a true believer is training to kill you. He is training with minimum food and water, in austere conditions, day and night. The only thing clean on him is his weapon. He doesn’t worry about what workout to do — his rucksack weighs what he weighs, and he runs until the enemy stops chasing him. The true believer doesn’t care how hard it is; he knows that he either wins or dies. He doesn’t go home at 1700; he is home. He only knows the cause. Now. Who wants to quit?”
