I have not blogged in a while. Forgive me, we were recovering from Christmas fun, getting the house in order, working on the yard, visiting with family, etc. Oh and trying to figure out the lovely "terrible-twos" as it is most commonly referred to. Brock has recently figured out or rather believes that he has a say, opinion, a choice in the matter. One morning a couple of weeks ago he had the ultimate meltdown over putting on a jacket. We tried our normal distract and redirect. He loves to sing and dance and his favorite song right now is Old MacDonald Had a Farm (and Itsy Bitsy Spider and Wheels on the Bus...). So when the meltdown was in full force, we started with good 'ole e-i-e-i-o and got a lovely e-i-e-i-NOOOOOOOOO! Buck and I couldn't help but laugh. Anyways, besides the occasional meltdown, our little boy is growing up! His vocabulary has really taken off. A few of his favorite word combinations: "I love you." "I had a good day." "Dada, Where are you?" "Mama, Sit here." "One more book?" He will even engage in a good knock-knock joke and laughs hysterically at the end. So cute. I must add he gives the best sugar-big hugs and tops it off with a kiss. He is doing better at his colors as well. Just for you....a few random photos....it is never a dull moment in our home! (Disclaimer: Most of these were taken with my iPhone. Don't judge the quality! I need a new camera!)

| He loves his horse, Chestnut. |
| I have to share this story-Buck was trying to fill the base of the hoop with sand and was having a hard time getting the stopper out. Brock said, "Wait Dada!" and ran to get his tools to help. It was soooo cute! |

| Yeah, who knows.... |
| Thank you for the train table Kacy! We have some awesome hand-me-downs! |
| We made a trip to New Braunfels to see Grandma and Grandpa's new beautiful home. Grandpa and Brock got a tour of the Salt Lick's massive grill. Yum! |
