Happy 4th Birthday Brock!

Mommy and Daddy can't believe that our oldest is FOUR years old!  Where has the time gone?  Brock, you are such a joy to be around.  You are kind, smart, funny, cute, an awesome big brother and we can't wait to see what greatness you bring to this world.  Never stop laughing!  We love you!

Brock's 4th Birthday party was originally planned for March 8th at Trinity Park in FW.  Well, this planner of a mommy looked at the 10-day forecast far in advance and it spelled trouble.  So, we made some last minute changes and had the party on March 1st at Trinity Park.  It was a beautiful day!  We still had some hurdles to overcome: the park being closed due to a 5k, the train not running on schedule, no guaranteed seats on the train, etc.  But hey, that is about par for the course right now!  Everything turned out great and everyone had fun riding the Forest Park Miniature Railroad.  A big thank you to everyone for being flexible!

Bandanas and train whistles for all of the kiddos.

This looks like a tombstone candle from the back!  It was Thomas the Tank Engine.

Success!

We also had a nice family birthday celebration at Gigi and Grandpa's.  Uncle John came into town, but unfortunately, Uncle Stephen missed out on the fun.

Uncle John pulled through and bought Brock the curved train pieces he specifically asked me to tell Uncle John about.

John bought the boys a Baby Kodiak.
On Brock's actual birthday, the four of us went to Chuck E Cheese's to celebrate.  Brock had never been there before, so that was quite an adventure!
