Summer Fun!!!!

We have been busy, busy and I can't believe that tomorrow is the 4th of July.  Seriously, where has the time gone?!?  Here is a glimpse into some of our fun times.  First, the zoo with school friends and their mamas...

They had a Gigantabug exhibit going on.  The boys loved finding the bugs all over the zoo.

 

 

 

This was an extra special trip because we stopped by a window near the elephants and one of the elephants decided to put on a show for our kiddos.  It was really neat!

The boys were exhausted by the time we left.  It was a quiet ride home for mama!

 

But they quickly recharged-Just a few photos of WyWy from later that day.  He loves those choo-choos.

Brock LOVES to play "Yoshi" (Super Mario World) with Uncle Stephen!  Later that day Brock said it was policy to wash his car-a little John in training. 

Buck and I were lucky enough to get some tickets to the last George Strait concert (thanks again brother!).  It was such a good concert-worth standing for the entire show! 

We celebrated Stephen's 30th bday at Lake Austin.  Great times with tons of peeps at an awesome lake house and on the boat.

We also spent a few days at Grandma and Grandpa's.  Hopefully we can make it back there again this Summer!

And these are photos from the past couple of weeks- having picnics on the driveway to minimize mess!, first ice cream truck experience, Mommy/Brock Rangers game date, and walks to the park.

I guess it's good he loves his peas and carrots!

Nicholas walked halfway down the field to say hi.

Wyatt is growing sooo fast!  He understands what we say and is such a great helper.  His laughs are contagious and always well timed.  Really, his timing is impeccable!  He loves to dance when he hears tunes and has pretty good rhythm I think.  Books are still a favorite, while he doesn't go anywhere without his sunglasses and blankie (bis as he calls it). 

Conversations in the world of Brock...

Our neighbors' daughter recently got married and I believe that brought on this conversation...
Brock:  Mama, I can't marry you.
Mama:  Right, but why do you say that?
Brock:  Because you are already married.  (Smart boy!)
Mama:  That is true.  So who are you going to marry?
Brock:  Natalie (from school)
Mama:  Oh really, does Natalie know this?
Brock:  Yes, she said she wants to marry me because I am nice.  She is nice too.

Maybe we should get to know Natalie and her parents.  :)

The kid (Brock) has also been eating a lot lately.  He must be going through another growth spurt.  He came downstairs the other night after we put him to bed...
Brock:  Mama, I am hungry.
Mama:  Okay, let's see what we can get you.
Brock:  And please put the Rangers game on.
Mama:  Okay.
Brock:  Do you know why I want to watch the Rangers?
Mama:  Why?
Brock:  So I can learn how to play better.  (His Grandpas should be proud!)
