Four Teeth...Oh My!

He looked a lot scarier than this at 4am!
Remember last week when I reported we had one tooth?  Well, we now have four!  Our poor baby was waking up in the middle of the night in pain.  I suppose it is better that all of his teeth want to breakthrough at once.  Why prolong the pain?  One night I was in Brock's room trying to calm him down when I heard a rustling outside his window and then saw a pair of eyes staring at me.  I was trying to whisper-yell for Buck....yes "whisper-yell"....quite the oxymoron, but you know what I am talking about.  It was an opossum staring back at me.  I think we were equally scared of each other.  Good times.

Do you know what season it is?  No, not the Christmas Season YET, although the stores are trying to trick you into thinking otherwise.  It is deer hunting season.  Each year Buck enters a lotto to get drawn to bow hunt near Lake Texoma for a weekend.  Well, he was picked and his hunt was this past weekend.  He got up in the wee hours of the morning to go sit in a tree......all day long.  Except this year, it was worth it.  Congrats on the 9 point buck Hunny!  While Buck was sitting in a tree, Brock and I traveled southbound 35 to visit some relatives.  It was a nice visit and then a long trip back.  Traffic on 35 is bad enough on a Sunday without a dead battery!  A quick stop at the Waco Walmart.....some interesting folk in there....and we were back on the road.  I was asleep by 9:30 last night and those of you that know me, know that never happens!  I got my *extra* hour of sleep last night as my baby's internal clock unfortunately did not "fall back" with the time change.

Brock "won" a stick pony during the live auction at the church luncheon courtesy of Gigi!
