Well, the Rangers couldn't pull it off, but that's okay! The Giants played a lot better ball and deserved to win. At least they beat the Yankees!!!!!!!!!!!
Last week we spotted Brock's first tooth! Yippee! It looks like a few other teeth are ready to emerge any day now as well.
Last Wednesday was our three year anniversary. We had a nice dinner at our favorite restaurant, Del Frisco's, to celebrate. Happy Anniversary to my Hubby and Best Friend! While at the restaurant, a couple of the hostesses and waiters asked us how long we had been married. Each time Buck smiled and said, "Three years, but we have known each other for twelve years. It is not often people marry their high school sweetheart." Well, I am glad you married your high school sweetheart, Hunny! Unfortunately, I do not have a recent photo of just the two of us.....I just realized we need to appear in more of these photos.
A cute baby I know is venturing out more and more. Saturday morning he wandered out of his room and down the hallway. He looked at me and grinned the entire way down the hall.
Sunday was Halloween. No, we did not dress Brock up for Halloween. I had a hard time justifying dressing him up....maybe I am silly, but what the heck are you supposed to do with a seven month old on Halloween? We definitely weren't going to take him trick or treating, he is too young to have fun at a pumpkin patch or trunk-or-treat at the church, he outgrew his pumpkin costume he wore during his six month photos and the Rangers were playing Sunday night. Early in the week I asked Buck if I was a bad Mom for not making a big deal about this Halloween and he said No, so I was done thinking about it! Instead, I dressed him in orange and we went to lunch and on a nice long walk/wagon ride with Gigi and Grandpa.
And last but not least, guess who pulled himself up to a standing position all by himself last night? We had dinner at Ma's and while we were chit chatting Brock decided to make us all excited for him. He is going to be walking in no time!!!!
| I can stand all by myself! |
| I am gonna get you Mommy! |
Every evening Brock has to make sure this piece of plastic is still there. One day Daddy will put down the transition piece between the wood floor and tile floor and Brock will be confused! |

He's growing so fast...too cute! And you aren't a bad mom for not dressing him up for Halloween! It's not like he cares yet and he may some day thank you for it.
