Duke and Myrtle Beach

It seems like just yesterday I was writing about my brother moving away to attend graduate school at Duke.  Two years flew by fast and we all traveled to Raleigh to watch my baby brother walk across the stage.  We were introduced to NC BBQ, hiked to Eno River, given the ultimate tour of Duke and met several of Stephen's friends and their families.  Stephen also introduced us to the Dean he worked closely with after very humbly telling us he was awarded one of thirteen Dean's awards.  Congrats brother!  You have the world at your fingertips (Literally!  He is adventuring somewhere in Brazil as I write this!).

The EARLIEST flight EVER!

Thank you for the MM suitcase Gigi and Gpa!

Loves the airport!

Eno River

Brock picked a flower and gave it to Gigi (all on his own!).

Fun with the camera :)

Duke Gardens- Amazing!

Jason and Mary (and baby girl Graham) drove in for graduation.
Fun Night Out Celebrating!

After celebrating at Duke for a couple of days, we packed up the cars and drove to Myrtle Beach.  We were lucky the rain stayed away, although it was still quite breezy.  The ocean was so cold and Brock referred to it as "the big pool."  Our resort was tons of fun with several pools to keep everyone entertained.  The guys played golf the first day, while Brock and I went swimming in the pools and hot tubs.  That night we all went to see the Myrtle Beach Pelicans play.  They are a single A team for the Texas Rangers.  We had to get our baseball fix!  We also introduced Brock to miniature golf at Myrtle Beach.  We had a couple of competitive games!
Loves the beach!

YAY!

At the ballgame.  Cute boys!

PDA Photo Bomb!

Flight Home

We all had a wonderful time and were not ready to come home!  We must have said that too loudly though because our flight home was diverted to Tulsa because of tornadoes in DFW.  Our few hour flight turned into eight hours on the plane.  Our boys were amazing and received several compliments from fellow passengers.  We were happy, although sleepy to land at DFW after 2am.  My parents have the worst luck flying, so we blame it on them!  Love ya Mom and Dad, but next time we are on different flights!  (just kidding!)
