The Vacation That Was and Wasn't

Well, it has been a rough week for us!  It started off good though!  Buck and I flew out to Tahoe last Saturday and managed to get a day of skiing/snowboarding in before Buck was injured.  He was taken down the mountain on a snowmobile for what he thought was just a sprain.  He couldn't stand or put weight on it at all.  Monday morning we received an early morning call that Wyatt was really sick.  I called American Airlines and they were very accommodating in changing our flights to get us home that day and they provided us early boarding and wheel chair assistance for my broken hubby. I am so glad I insisted on the wheel chair because once he saw a doctor at home, it was confirmed he broke his fibula.  Luckily, surgery is not required!  Wyatt had an ear infection and a form of bronchiolitis and is doing much better.  HUGE thank you to my parents for taking care of our babies until we could get back in town very late Monday night.

A few photos from our fun day (and I stole some from Carolyn from the rest of their trip!).  Carolyn and I had a great day in ski school and the guys had fun snowboarding until Buck got hurt.  It is absolutely beautiful there!

On the gondola on our way up!
